WheelHouse Rentals
WheelHouse is proud to offer a full rental fleet of city and cargo carrying bikes. Bikes by Jamis, Bowery Lane Bicycles, Batavus, and WorkCycles are all available to rent for as little as an hour or for as long as a week. Whether you make your home here or are visiting our beautiful City of Santa Barbara you’ll be able to ride and enjoy some of the best city bicycles around. We will also be offering rental options for a couple of our unique cargo carrying bikes, including the Xtracycle and Bakfiets. Last, but certainly not least, WheelHouse will be offering tours on the amazing 7-seater conference bike we so affectionately call The McClintock 7. Please call to reserve a seat or to inquire about bringing your private party and business functions to the next level of fun with The McClintock 7.
Any bicycle rental fees (up to a full day) can be credited towards the purchase of a new WheelHouse bike (excluding the Conference Bike/McClintock 7).
Below is a list of rental fees. Fees are subject to change without notice, so please call in advance to double check. All rentals require a credit card deposit on the bikes being rented that will be returned as soon as the bicycles are. Any damage done to the bike, other than the normal wear and tear of riding will be assessed and charged. If the bike is not returned by the end of the said day or week, the customer will be charged the full retail amount for the bike. All cyclists are asked to wear helmets while riding WheelHouse bikes which are available for rental with bikes.
A WheelHouse employee will get a time estimate of how long customer will be renting the cycle and take an initial amount of money up front, customer is welcome to have cycle out longer than original said time but must pay all extra fees associated with the longer rental.

- *Hourly tours on the McClintock 7/Conference Bike will be available by appointment for $15 per seat per tour (about an hour) with a WheelHouse guide driving the cycle
- Hourly rates are for private parties and company functions. For half and full day rentals WheelHouse will deliver within the Santa Barbara County Area at the rate of $1.50 per mile or $40, whichever is greater. Please call to make a reservation. A non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of the reservation. Appointments made and missed will be subject to the value of reservation in WheelHouse products and services.
